About this site

Hi and welcome,

My name is Tom. This little self hosted site is mainly a place for me to platform my work and share it with the likes of yourself.

This site is using the Hugo framework on a Digital Ocean Ubuntu VPS as a cheap and maintainable solution to get my work out there.

I will try and keep is as updated as possible. Check out what I have been working on via the Projects section. There I go into a bit more of a breakdown on my projects with code samples included.

Recently I have really been interesting in working on such things as :

  • Scripting / Dev Tools

    • Getting use to Linux, writing scripts and using the likes of git
  • Component interfacing /w micropython

    • Servos, Cameras, Sensors, Joysticks etc..
  • Emulation

    • Both Game (RetroPi) and Containerized Applications (Docker)
  • Facial/Expression Recognisition

  • Object Detection / Recognisition

You can always drop me a message if you would like to discuess anything you have come across on this site. Reach me on the Contact Section.

Thanks for checking the site out, Tom

(PS: Please let me know if you have any issues browsing, all feedback is useful feedback)
